Receiving a booking account

  1. TU/e or Fontys decides which student receives a booking account.

Activating account

You’ll receive an email from Vestide with login details and a deadline to activate your account and book an accommodation. 

Booking accommodation

  • When you found the accommodation you want to rent, press the booking button to be redirected to the payment page and complete all the steps. 

  • Payment is checked within 24 hours. You see the status ‘pending’.  

  • Successful payment results in a confirmation email and the tenancy agreement within 2 weeks. 

  • If the payment was not successful, you will receive an email that the accommodation is not booked by you. The accommodation will become available again to book. Please check with your bank why the payment was not successful. When the payment problem is fixed, you can book an accommodation. 

Tenancy agreement

You will receive the tenancy agreement with important information within 2 weeks before the starting date of the tenancy agreement. 

Key pick-up

You can pick-up your keys from the starting date of your tenancy agreement at our office, at Wal 2 in Eindhoven, from Monday to Friday between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM. It is not possible to pick them up after 5:00 PM, in the weekend or on national holidays.  

Arrival accommodation

Your furnished accommodation is cleaned by our cleaning company. In your accommodation you find two boxes with kitchen utensils and bed linen. 

Creating a tenant account

From the starting date of your tenancy agreement, you can register yourself on My Vestide. 

Following payments

Exchange and Erasmus students have already paid half or full semester during the booking.

Termination agreement

You’ll receive a confirmation email before the end of your tenancy with information about leaving your room. 

Rental termination

You can terminate your rental earlier than the ending date of the contract on the website with a one-month notice period. Exchange students cannot terminate their tenancy agreement. 

Final settlement

You’ll receive the final settlement within 2 weeks after the ending date of your tenancy agreement. This is excluding the settlement of the service costs. Check this link for more information.
